6: Buppido's Lair
Shortly beyond the fork the passage is blocked by what appears to be an old brass door dominated by a carving of a face of a Deep One with onyx stones for eyes. If the door or the stones are molested in any way, silver light forms in the eyes. After one round a psychic blast will emanate from the door in the form of a Dissonant Whisper DC16, 5d6 psychic damage in the form of the question "Who is your God?" If instead of resisting the attack the target responds "Buppido" the damage disappears and the door opens. If they instead respond "ME" then the target will disappear, sucked into the spaceless void of the door and will initiate a contest of wills with the door. Three successes will reset the door, causing it to open at the target's name instead. Three failures will result in the target being ejected, blind and covered in cruel sucker bites, with one HP remaining and the door will say "Thought so" and go back to sleep
The tunnel opens up into a cavern thick with the stink of water and death. A precarious stone ledge runs the perimeter and a rough imitation of a rope bridge lashes several pontoons in a chain leading some thirty feet to a pedestal rising out of the muck. Lanterns hang from chains, shedding smoke and dim light such that you can see a small white haired figure scampering to and fro. It appears to be a small female Derro wearing a belt with two hand crossbows and a gore-encrusted bib. It is running between five pedestals bearing what appear to be meat sculptures. Four of them are large, perfectly proportioned male an female figures, beautiful if not for the lack of skin. The center sculpture is a massive bone-white scuplture of a ten foot tall Derro with a massive head and cartoonishly thick limbs. The sculptor notices your entrance for no observable reason and calls out to you in a friendly tone.
"My dear friends, come in come in. Is it now already? I thought it was still soon. Time is slippery you know. I am so pleased that you could be the final ingredients to my ascension. Won't it be glorious? Buppido Daggamomminal, God of Meat! I will remember your names fondly to my minions, especially you, little backward talker. You are the only one who made sense. But not you mister bear, I am still angry at you for murdering me back. Not polite that. Still, you are most fluffy, perhaps I will forgive you after all. I will fuck all of the bitches and eat all of the ice cream on the rug I make of you. You will be so blessed by the gunk that I spill on your back. Well hurry up then, time to make the soup!"
With that pronouncement the Derro begins to recite from a Grimoire nearly as large as herself. Arcs of lightning flash out of the book and electrocute the meat statues which to your horror spring to life.

The goat has watched the conflict with suspicious attention. Detects as Evil and Magic (Transmutation). Spell is not a traditional Polymorph, death of the goat will NOT restore hp.
The reality of the form melts like warm chocolate over an invisible framework and you can see a tiny figure trapped inside. As the shell fails the creature trapped inside flops free and returns to normal size, revealing himself to be the Grackle of Gracklesthug. Initially the sound coming from him is a bestial howl, but it drops in pitch becoming a rough string of coughs.
He pushes himself from all fours, standing unsteadily. He surveys the group suspiciously. "I suppose you think I belong to you now, is that it? I don't think I agree with that assessment. I will say this though, you have done me a service and I mean to make right by it but your Lord has more need of you still. That damned elf took my throne and I mean to take it back and you done proved yourself dwarf enough to stand against him and not piss yourself like my worthless kin did. Ima call the stonebones and Ima ride my dragon down his gullet. You stand with me in this you will be witness to a Reckoning make no mistake. You wouldn't want to miss that now would ya?"
"You do right by me and I will grant you my favor. I offer you freedom, and my kinship, and I will lay upon you gifts of the Daen of old. What say you, heros? You feel up to shedding blood with your Thane?"
