This ring is clearly Hellforged by the metal used. The polished black metal weeps a fouls smelling oil that stains the hand green. It is set with a chip of opaque pink coral that resembles a flake of hardened human tissue.
When worn the ring will repair 1d6 hp of damage per round. Each use of the ring requires a DC 12 Wis save or the wearer will be mentally transported to a brutal hellscape where they will be forced to watch as life energy is burned out of wailing souls and forced into the wearer.
