The Eladrin Daggers are rare and much sought after. Each bears the crest of the Seelie Court and made of a single piece of petrified wood. Despite the stonelike appearance the weapon is harder than steel, though it is weaker than mithril and can be broken with a parry or fumble against a sufficiently hard object. Beneath the polished surface swim delicate vineworks and runes of Ithildin that glow in moonlight and shift when concentrated on.

The weapon behaves as a Dagger +1 if used in combat, but the primary purpose is that of an Arcane Focus. If used in this manner it grants +1 to Spell DC and Attack Bonus with spells cast using it, and unlike normal spell foci it also grants +1 to the owner's saving throws vs spells. If the owner rolls a natural 20 on spell save, the dagger can parry the spell completely, throwing the spell back on the caster.
