From Greensward
I staggered through fog and mirrors until I could no longer measure the days. The shadows came at me from every direction. I was utterly lost. When he could smell my despair, that was when he finally revealed himself to me. He stepped out of my own reflection, tall as an ogre and black as midnight. Yet no ogre was he, no flabby mountain of sweat and rage. He was in a word, beautiful. Every muscle was taut and every movement a ballet.
