Michael du Karist, Human rogue, charlatain background. Claims to be 4th heir to the Duchy of Karist in Bissel.Joined crew claiming to be master chef, cannot cook. reassigned to deckhand, too weak. reassigned to rigging, turns out he is a damned spider in the ropes. Should have been keelhauled for his lies, protected by the Captain. First mate genuinely hates him, Captain won't tell him why he was protecting him.Would really like it if the First Mate has drowned in the wreck.

Most importantly, unlike many sailors, he CAN SWIM.
