Bliadna-Na-Eire: Year of Shame. The dwarves believe that young men are doomed to unwise actions until maturity, usually expected around seventy. The purpose of a Year of Shame is to have them make their mistakes away from judgement of their peers.

B'fear mise nathusa: Better me than you. Rarely heard prayer to the dead. Tradition holds that if Abbathor hears these words spoken he may restore the departed to life but will eat the speaker's soul, denying them an afterlife.
