Spanichen
The Principality of Spanichen is reeling from the effects of a long-standing conflict with Turbichen. Prince Erioch del Robos takes the stalemate as a failure and is aggressively trying to rebuild in preparation for another attempt. He has laid all of his hopes on the Musketoons and the artificers behind them.

Barony of Cathros
Medigen
Medigen was a prosperous walled city, able to repel aggressive attacks and weather extended sieges. It was responsible for six regional holds and Spanichen relied on them for a significant portion of their food. In HR2971 the city was taken by madness and plague, only a fraction of the population escaping before the gates were sealed. With the fall of Medigen, the Baroness has relocated to Redlyn and has pressured the area for increased production until Medigen can be retaken.
Redlyn
Fort Braylos
Up until recently, Fort Braylos was an empty carcass looming over Redlyn, only used in emergencies to shelter against attacks. The people of Redlyn call the place Blood Keep and believe it to be either cursed, haunted, or both. The Baroness has brought in craftsmen to restore Braylos so that she can use it as a temporary base, but it is clear that she intends to retake Medigen and the people of Redlyn are eager for her to leave.
Yewlough
The area beneath the curtain wall was cleared of forest when Fort Braylos was constructed, primarily to give a clear line of attack for archers. Under Imperial order the field was to remain unoccupied, but when the line of Braylen failed and the Imperial garrison was moved to Medigen, houses and shops sprang up.
1 Lawstone
In accordance with Imperial rule, the Lawstone of Medigen was taken when Medigen fell and placed at Heartcross Square for all to see.

8 Nana Shakti's Tea House
Shakti Grimflower is the matriarch of her family, running a full service restaurant in the shadow of the High Road with her four daughters and eleven grand-daughters, all forest and rock goblins who dress in Kalostan servant skirts. Their main draw is Darkflower tea, a sweet and peppery drink that causes mild numbness due to the trace amounts of belladonna toxin in the recipe. Drinking more than one cup produces light sensitivity but also imparts temporary Darkvision, leading to many of the Braylos guards taking to an afternoon tea before night watches.
There have been a number of deaths from poisoning but the fact that Nana Shakti is openly telling her patrons about the poison means that by Imperial Law she is not responsible if her customers die from her food. As it stands, there is some concern from the foreigners about the deaths but no obvious reason for action. This could change if they learn that the body count is significantly higher than they are aware. This is because one of the other side effects of the toxin is thinning of the veil, leading to some patrons being lost in the fey realm and being thought missing or deserting.

The Stacks
The road into the stacks is extremely hard to spot, just faint wagon tracks in the tall grass. The Stacks are populated by two families who refused citizenship and went into the woods.
