Daywalker: A living creature infected by the Hunger but not embraced
Ghoul: A living creature killed by a vampire has a 10% chance of rising as a ghoul under the vampire's control
Spawn: Repeated feeding on the same living creature who dies from the feeding (80%) or dies before the process is completed (10%). Daywalkers rise as spawn after seven days dead.
Vamp: Feeding a spawn weakens the sire and elevates the spawn to vamp
