Religion
Love the gods, for even at their most wicked they are of the Divine Spark of Creation. They are the bulwark of existence and even if they do not love you, even if they are apathetic to the worst trials of your short life, love them sincerely and unreservedly. Thank them for the bright moments of your life, but also thank them for the famines, for the typhoon and the earthquake that shatters your heart. For even in the midst of fire and death and woe, they give you a gift every day of your life, because they hold back something far worse.

The Diablerie
The Fiends of the Burning Hells claim to be principled and in service to the Cause Absolute, the rout of the Demonic Horde and the sealing of the Abyssal Rift. They claim that any evil done in service to their purpose is necessary and therefore righteous, that the Greater Good erases all sin. As an example of their pious crusade they are not led by a king but by a council of equals and their wickedness is debated and evaluated so that only the absolute minimum measure of evil be done in the service of their goal. This is widely understood to be a lie as by their own tongues they admit that no sin would be worse than failure and no price too high to pay if it means victory.
Denizens of the Far Realm
The Far Realm is a place of nightmares and madness. Mind Flayers, Beholders, and other creatures damaging to mortal psyches claim to understand the spaces beyond the stars but beings of this world trying to learn its secrets are invariably driven mad by the so called "truth" that the Black offers.
Udu the Watcher
It is said that on rare occasion the veil between worlds will thin and the higher dimensions will bleed through. In these times many strange and alien beasts mingle senselessly through our world, usually not taking any notice of us. Chief among them is a great eye that stretches across a quarter of the horizon. It is ever searching, scanning for something unknown and unknowable. It's attention is believed to cause the corruptive madness that leads to the generation of Nothics and perhaps even Beholders.
Brethilax, Eater of Souls
The entity Brethilax may be related to the demon lord Jubilex somehow. Some suggest that Jubilex is some proxy or spawn of Brethilax, or that Jubilex a demonic force that was at one point otherwise and has been corrupted by contact with the Brethilax. Either way, there is definitely a connection and Jubilex is incessantly trying to harness the connection for its own purposes. If this is even possible, success would be apocalyptic.
Reaching out to the Brethilax reveals images of an entire moon covered with or perhaps made of Gibbering Mouthers in a massive cannibalistic super-colony. There does not seem to be a way to communicate with the Brethilax and it is likely to respond with apathy one moment and with terrifying waves of psychic energy the next.
Hule, the Hungry Star
Astronomers try to read truth in the stars, mapping them out in great detail and trying to understand their precise nature. They tell frightening warnings of a star that follows no pattern, appears and disappears with no recognizable reason behind it, and consumes other stars.
Shishelendi, the Faceless Lady
Among the Southron there is talk that it is unwise to solicit the company of strange women in dark alleyways. They tell of a figure lithe and compelling, with skin that gives back no light and gossamer wraps that betray no modesty. Should you encounter one of these phantom figures who beckon with their body but do not speak, run to the light for if you go to her you will learn her secret truth and your wives and mothers will have no memory of you. Men will whisper among themselves that the Faceless Lady has taken you and no lover will share her conquest.
Burindune, the Sandman
The Southrons tell stories about a creature made of sand that walks the desert ahead of terrible Haboobs. They also talk of a benevolent spirit who sprinkles sand in the eyes of children and sends them off to dreamlands. They warn their children not to look in his eyes lest he become upset and trap them there forever. They do not however, speak of the screams in the night, of hiding behind doors and ignoring pleas for help, of children's sheets being washed of blood in early morning.
Nyurl, the Doom of Man
Nyurl has many names and more faces for the mortals that he offers aid. As Papa Starlight he courts witches in desperate need and as Happy Jack he offers friendship and cunning help to those who feel without hope. What he wants with mortals changes but how utterly he manipulates them into losing everything they desire is a constant. One thing is certain. if he is offering it, you do not want it.
Garn, the Sleeper
It is unclear if the Sleeper is connected to the Trinity in some manner or if they are only superficially similar. The story of the Sleeper comes to us from the Deep Ones. They tell of a gargantuan squidlike entity drifting through space, asleep or dead or perhaps somewhere in between. They offer sacrifices to restore it to life so that it may come and consume our star and thereby rip a wormhole to the far realm that will suck in our whole planet. They also claim that this has already happened, that if you look far enough into our future you can witness our doom.
Creatures of the Fey
The Grundle
The Grundle is a sage of the Faerie Realm, appearing as a great spider with the hands and head of an elderly woman. There is an air of danger about her at all times but her goals are erratic and not always malevolent.
