Cosmology

The sphere of Greensward has for most of its existence been under a blockade by the Elven Naval Fleet. The Sphere is solar core with four coplanar bodies and one rogue body.

Crystal Sphere

The sphere itself is permeated by 17 solar gates with psychic guardians. Each is aligned to a Power of Greensward and passage is protected by various tests that the guardians enforce. Success allows access to the Phlogiston stream. Failure can mean ejection, astral ejection, or destruction depending on the aligned Power's whim.

Greensward

Greensward is the light of the sphere, the only true home of indigenous civilization. Until recently it was under a blockade enforced by the Elven Navy but the blockade order has apparently been withdrawn.

Greensward has two moons, the bright moon Celene and the dark moon Nox. Most surfacers are not aware of the existence of Nox, save for a handful of Sages who have theorized its existence from the disappearance of certain stars blocked by her orbit.

Oublius

Oublius travels at a severe angle, defying the ordered plane. The surface of Oublius is completely magic-dead and no records exist of even long range mapping expeditions as it eats the power from helms and spells at even extreme range. When the orbits bring Oublius in close proximity to Nebithet or Vyanullia the magic death can be felt even on their surfaces.
